What many people don’t realise:
Wind is still the most natural, cleanest and most cost-effective driving force for the home ventilation. Although its strength may not always be constant, it is the perfect way to ensure continuous ventilation of living spaces.
The Regel-air® vents are mainly used in cross ventilation. In this system, air flows into the building on the windward side (LEE side). On the leeward side, a negative pressure is created, which ensures that the stale air is extracted. The diagram shows that the negative pressure (suction) is more pronounced than the positive pressure on the windward side.
